05 September 2002 - We are just going outside and may be some time...
The famous last words from Scott of the Antarctic.... but he didn't have a Mini Cooper with climate control!

Thats right - we're off on another Mini Adventure - this time to go where no Mini has gone before. We're going to the Arctic Circle!

Our ferry for Norway leaves at 6pm on Friday 6th September, on which Dan and Alex will be preparing themselves (over a few beers no doubt) for yet another monumental mission past the Fjords of Norway to Bodo, just north of the Arctic Circle!!

Preparations are going well, the car is kitted out with suitable music, mains electricty, and even a wireless Internet connection! We'll be keeping you all up to date with our progress through email and on our web site at http://www.mini-adventures.co.uk/ throughout the trip. And don't forget to send us an email to keep us entertained on the way - we'll be on arctic@mini-adventures.co.uk throughout the trip!

Oh, and if you know anyone in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium or France, do let us know as we'd love to meet up for a beer or two! Yes, thats right, we're driving all the way back!!
